  • Intermediate License: After passing the road test, drivers under 18 will receive an Intermediate License as part of the Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) program.

Vehicle Requirements

Ensure the vehicle you use for the test meets the following criteria:

  • Valid Registration and Insurance: Bring proof of both.
  • Functional Equipment: All lights, horn, mirrors, and turn signals must be operational.
  • Clean Windshield: Free of cracks or obstructions.
  • Fuel Level: At least half a tank.
  • Tires: Properly inflated.

  • Turning: Making right and left turns, signaling appropriately, and staying in the correct lane.
  • Lane Changes: Checking mirrors and blind spots before changing lanes.
  • Following Distance: Maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
  • Parallel Parking: Executing a parallel park between cones or vehicles.
  • Hill Parking: Parking on an incline or decline, turning wheels appropriately.

Note: The use of backup cameras is not permitted during the test.

After the Test

  • Passing: You'll receive a temporary license, and your official license will be mailed to you.
