The buyer must complete the title transfer within 30 days of the purchase date to avoid late penalties. Here’s what’s needed:

  • A completed Application for Certificate of Title (Form ITD 3337).
  • A bill of sale (optional but useful).
  • Payment for the title transfer fee, which is $14.

Special Scenarios

Gifted Vehicles
